Babcock has supported the RAF for almost 100 years and we’re very proud to sponsor the RAF100 Appeal, a joint venture between the RAF and four major RAF charities (RAF Association, RAF Benevolent Fund, RAF Charitable Trust and RAF Museum), as it seeks to support the RAF family and create a lasting legacy.

Babcock is proud of its 100-year relationship with the Royal Air Force. We are looking forward to another century of working together, delivering air power in the UK, for allied air forces elsewhere - and building another proud legacy for air-minded young people joining the Royal Air Force of the future.”

Archie Bethel, Group Chief Executive

From supporting the No.3 Maintenance Unit at RAF Milton to helping to build the iconic Merlin engine - used in legendary aircraft such as the Spitfire and Lancaster during the Second World War - Babcock has been a long-standing partner to the RAF. That’s why when the opportunity to sponsor the RAF100 Appeal came around, we were delighted to get involved.

From baton relays and air station open days to the RAF100 parade and fly past, members of Babcock’s 6,000-strong aviation team have been enjoying and participating in a variety of community events and fundraising activities, supporting the RAF100 Appeal with the enthusiasm and Whole Force spirit for which they are known.
