GSE Asset Management 

Babcock manages and maintains over 17,000 assets for Alitalia, Heathrow and Edinburgh Airports, ranging from passenger buses to 70-tonne aircraft pushback tractors. 
Our approach is based over the whole-life of an asset from procurement through to disposal. Customers can benefit from increased availability, savings of around 10-15%, reduced costs and processing, and transference of risk.

Maximise workshop productivity

We identify maintenance schedules that deliver improved fleet availability and performance. Key to this is ensuring modern on-site workshops with experienced multi-skilled technicians and streamlined processes.
Through constantly monitoring workshop performance, we improve repair turnaround times and identify bottlenecks and spare capacity. Our dedicated Airport call centre with resilient support technology also enables the right set up for rapid response times to key airport operators. 

Delivering enhanced fleet data & reporting

Our web-based reporting system delivers total visibility of performance, cost of ownership, and availability helps managers make whole-life decisions. We see telematics as an essential tool, both in monitoring asset performance and issues as well as in helping to identify the optimal number of vehicles required within an operation.

Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) 

Our technical expertise in baggage processing, operational knowledge and specialist engineering skills is delivered by over 1,000 skilled personnel processing 160,000 bags daily. Our customised solutions include:
