Aerial emergency services
Babcock has over 35 years’ experience in the aerial emergency services field. In Italy, we run aerial emergency medical services (EMS), search and rescue (SAR) and firefighting operations. Our experience and operational capability means customers trust us to deliver logistically complex and time-sensitive missions such as EMS or SAR missions in mountainous regions. We flew 28,000 hours across both aerial emergency services last year, performing 16,700 EMS missions, 550 SAR missions and 3,600 firefighting missions. We employ around 800 people including our expert aircraft engineers and highly trained aircrews.
Oil and gas aviation services
Babcock has over 35 years’ experience transporting oil and gas workers offshore. We have six oil and gas bases in Italy and three in Africa (which are operated by the Italian teams), with a dedicated fleet of 13 helicopters.
In accordance with the provisions of D.LGS. 231/01 we have published our Code of Ethics and Babcock Aviation's anti-bribery and corruption policy.
