Babcock’s LGE business celebrates win at China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s annual awards ceremony

Babcock’s LGE business, the world leader in liquefied gas solutions is delighted to announce they have won the ‘Gold Supplier Award’ at the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) annual Supply Chain Awards ceremony in Shanghai.

Kitson Chiu, Technical Sales Manager for Babcock’s LGE business accepted the Gold Supplier award from the Vice President of CSSC. The highly respected award which marks a significant milestone in the level of cooperation between Jiangnan Shipbuilding and Babcock’s LGE business.

Babcock’s LGE business has designed a suite of technologies to meet the commercial and environmental demands of its shipowner customers, providing cargo handling systems for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), ethane and ethylene ships, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) reliquefaction systems for LNG carriers plus LPG fuel gas supply systems. The business is also designing solutions for liquefied CO2 and the development of fuel gas supply systems for ammonia and other alternative fuels.
