New suppliers that were screened using environmental criteria

Percentage of new suppliers that were screened using environmental criteria

Our screening process for suppliers includes elements relating to human rights, labour standards risk, cyber security amongst other issues. We require strategic, key and preferred suppliers from the Defence and Aerospace sector to complete a self-assessment questionnaire in JOSCAR and by March 2021 c2300 suppliers have completed the questionnaire.

While there is a Procurement Environmental Sustainability policy, currently there is no systematic process that screens suppliers using environmental criteria as a pre-requisite to trade.
