Aerial emergency services

Babcock has over 35 years’ experience in aerial emergency medical services (EMS). Across Scandinavia, we flew 12,000 EMS flight hours and ran 11,000 EMS missions in the past year. Once our Norwegian EMS contract is fully operational (from 1 July 2019), we will run 18 EMS bases across Finland (including Åland), Norway and Sweden, own and maintain a fleet of 30 specialist EMS aircraft (fixed and rotary wing) and employ around 370 people, including our highly trained aircrews, engineers and specialist medical staff.
