Experience

David was appointed as CEO Babcock Australasia in 2016 with a remit to manage and grow Babcock’s interests in the Australasia region, across the defence, aviation and emergency services sectors. Prior to that, David held several senior roles in Babcock, including the managing director of Babcock’s Defence (Land & Air) business in the UK and managing director of Babcock’s Middle East businesses; he also led the project to integrate a number of acquisitions into what is today’s Cavendish Nuclear business. Prior to joining Babcock in December 2008, David was a director in the defence and B2C sectors as well as a non-executive director in the IT and consultancy services sectors; today he is member of the Australia-UAE Business Council Advisory Board. His previous military service saw him deployed on operations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
