Babcock scoops fourth consecutive Scottish Training Award

Babcock has scooped the Scottish Training Federation Quality Provider of the Year Award, giving us a top award for the fourth consecutive year. The Quality Provider of the Year 2017 was announced at Scotland’s Crieff Hydro Hotel in September, adding to previous awards for Innovative Provider of the Year, Success in Partnership and Overall Provider of the Year. The judges recognised Babcock’s commitment to delivering high quality apprenticeship solutions and were impressed by our passion for offering employer led programmes that put the modern apprentice at the heart of delivery. They went on to highlight our robust ISO:9001 Training Quality System, workforce development plans and e-learning platforms as key factors in selecting Babcock as the award winner – against some stiff competition. Collecting the award, Michael Sneddon, Operations Manager, said; ‘It’s a great honour for Babcock to have been recognised at the Scottish Training Federation awards for four successive years.

‘It reflects both the commitment we have to offering modern apprentices and employers a high quality apprenticeship programme, and the outstanding efforts that our teams put in to developing and nurturing the next generation of Scotland’s workforce.’  »
