Non-compliance with environmental laws and regulations

  1. Significant fines and non-monetary sanctions for non-compliance with environmental laws and/or regulations in terms of:
    1. total monetary value of significant fines;
    2. total number of non-monetary sanctions;
    3. cases brought through dispute resolution mechanisms.
  2. If the organization has not identified any non-compliance with environmental laws and/or regulations, a brief statement of this fact is sufficient.

A number of non-compliances with environmental regulations have been identified across Babcock’s operations.

Environmental improvement plans have been developed and appropriate remediation measures are being implemented to address the non-compliances.
