Babcock employs 28,560 individuals globally, 3,584 of which joined during FY21/22.

Employee turnover in FY21/22 was 16%, this includes voluntary and involuntary redundancies.

Benefits provided to full-time employees that are not provided to temporary or part-time employees

  1. Benefits which are standard for full-time employees of the organisation but are not provided to temporary or part-time employees, by significant locations of operation. These include, at a minimum; life insurance, health care; disability and invalidity coverage; parental leave; retirement provision, stock ownership; others.
  2. The definition used for “significant locations of operation”.

Across its operations Babcock offers consistent benefits packages to full and part time employees, there may however be variation based on employee job grade and employing entity.

Parental leave

  3. Total number of employees that returned to work in the reporting period after parental leave ended, by gender.

  5. Return to work and retention rates of employees that took parental leave, by gender.

Babcock provides parental leave in line with local statutory requirements, in most cases enhanced benefits are offered over and above the statutory requirement.

Babcock’s Return to Work Rate following parental leave is 91%.
