Babcock CEO, David Lockwood, extended a warm welcome to the new starters. David said: “I’m delighted to welcome our latest intake of graduates and apprentices to Babcock. These people are the future of the business and I look forward to hearing about the exciting projects they are involved with.”

Alyssa Davies, Sail Maker Apprentice at Devonport, cannot wait to get started. Alyssa said: “As an older apprentice this is a complete retrain for me, coming from my previous career in the NHS.

“I want to start my new career specifically with Babcock because it has a good reputation, along with an incredible training package and brilliant career prospects. I just can’t wait for my first day in the workshop learning my new trade.”
