BecktonBeckton uses innovative technology to provide a real fire training experience in operationally challenging scenarios in the country’s only indoor carbonaceous fire house; seven interconnecting rooms which make up a three-storey training facility. The unique all-weather facility also houses a state-of-the-art Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) training rig and a multi-functional incident command suite, offering a secure, flexible environment for both single-use and multi-agency training scenarios with a blend of realistic and simulated training.
Located in East London, a short walk away from the local DLR station and close to London City Airport, the Centre is accredited as a Skills for Justice Awards approved centre for training, ensuring independent quality assurance for our customers in both the venue and the training delivery. It is an OHSAS 18001 accredited centre and has been awarded the International Safety Award with Merit, demonstrating our commitment to delivering safe training in highly complex and critical environments.
Park RoyalThe Emergency Services Training Centre in Park Royal is a centre for excellence in Line Rescue, Fire Fighter Development and Real Fire Training. It is home to a unique firefighter training experience with the only carbonaceous basement fire in the country in which delegates can practice sub-surface procedures into a live fire and carry out relevant safe systems of work in an environment that strikes the balance between realism and safety. This innovative facility also has a virtually self-sufficient training block including solar panels, a ‘green’ roof, natural chimney ventilation, motion sensors for lights and water and rain water harvesters. Within the training grounds there is a water recycling system to reduce the amount of water going back in to the drainage system.

Cardiff GateThe Cardiff Gate Training Centre delivers excellent quality of training using modern techniques in innovative facilities. Opened in September 2005, we deliver ongoing enhancements to this location, the facilities at which include: a multi-purpose climbing and abseiling tower that simulate rock faces, pylon and building rescue conditions; a dedicated area for complex road traffic collision training scenarios including a floodable ditch; a confined space training tunnel with a rope rescue structure for gorge and ravine rescue training as well as USAR mine shaft and silo rescues; hazmat training incorporating LPG simulated fires in areas involving hazardous materials within industrial environments; a brick built house; a state of the art Hydra Minerva, Command training suite; a dedicated Large Animal Rescue training area
Severn ParkSevern Park Fire & Rescue Training Centre opened its doors to its first students on the 1st April 2003 and is run in conjunction with our three training partners Avon, Devon and Somerset and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Services. This purpose built training centre offers an enhanced training experience for both Fire Service personnel and the commercial sector. Our training facilities provide realistic fire training scenarios within a risk assessed and managed environment. Severn Park has accreditation with Skills For Justice Awards for its Level 3 Diploma in Emergency Fire and Rescue Services Operations in the Community, Level 3 Education and Training Award, Fire Technician, RTC Technician, RTC Instructor and Incident Command Initial. Specialist facilities on site include: carbonaceous training units; an LP Gas training house; multi-purpose industrial building; flange fire simulator; XVR dedicated Virtual Reality incident command system; a road system for the imitation of road traffic collisions including a ditch which can be water filled.
