Fire Fighting Training

Fire Fighting Training

Through our in purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities at three Royal Navy establishments in the UK, Babcock International provides a range of fire fighting training services.

Each unit, designed and built by Babcock, provides a specific type of fire fighting training. Portsmouth covers surface ship personnel, Torpoint is focused on new recruits, submarine and surface ship trainees, while Glasgow provides submarine crew continuation training. At all three sites, we deliver Maritime Coastguard Agency-accredited fire fighting training, along with facilities management and engineering services.

Our training programmes are delivered at a range of levels, from basic courses for new recruits to advanced training for experienced personnel, including specialist submarine courses and command and control training.

Every student receives state-of-the-art fire-fighting training in realistic scenarios which match those that could occur on board, in, for example, the engine room, galley, mess deck and passageways.
