Skills and experience

Prior to becoming Group CEO, Harry was previously Chief Executive of our Nuclear Sector, responsible for our nuclear business in both Defence, including Babcock’s submarine operations, and Civil markets. Before joining Babcock in September 2023, Harry spent over 10 years with Rolls-Royce, including 7 years on their Executive Team in a number of senior roles, including President of its Nuclear Division and latterly as Chief People Officer, leading a group wide transformation and restructuring. During his time running Rolls-Royce’s Nuclear business he led a step change in operational performance across the Defence Nuclear business, as well as initiating and growing their new Small Modular Reactor Business for the Civil Nuclear power market. Prior to Rolls-Royce, Harry had a distinguished career as an Officer in the British Army fulfilling some of Defence’s most challenging operational leadership roles.
