In September 2026 we joined defence leaders from around the world in strengthening international security partnerships and discovering the latest defence innovations at MSPO, one of Europe’s largest defence events.
We showcased our commitment to lifetime engineering – our approach that allows us to deliver for our customers, enabling us to look at the bigger picture, forge even closer committed partnerships and ensures we connect our know-how with operational needs.
Our stand in Hall D, Stand 4-D05 (part of the UK Pavilion) highlighted our commitment to supporting Poland’s defence capabilities, including through the Miecznik programme, in which we’re supporting the PGZ-MIECZNIK Consortium with the construction of three Arrowhead 140 frigates.
As a long-term partner to Poland’s defence sector, Babcock is proud of its contribution to the Miecznik frigate programme, supporting the development of sovereign naval capability through the transfer of technology, engineering expertise, and close collaboration with Polish industry partners.
Building on that model, we are also excited about our growing industrial and academic partnerships within the aviation and land domains. Those partnerships are fundamental to our ambitions of expanding Babcock’s support to Poland and its defence industry.
Our experts were on hand to talk about Arrowhead 140 – our proven, capable and adaptable frigate for global navies, how our through life equipment support prepares the British Army to be mission ready, and our leading naval ship support and maintenance in which we design, build, assemble, maintain, and upgrade international warships.
Colleagues from across the Group were at the event and ready to welcome you to our stand where you’ll be able to learn more about how we play a critical role in international defence, working closely alongside our customers to make their mission, our mission.
