Babcock manages all aspects of the land training cycle, delivering over 758,000 training days annually for the British Army and producing personnel that are knowledgeable, skilled and competent to operate in the most challenging circumstances.

Our unrivalled footprint in military training and the scale of our operations enables us to take ownership of all aspects, from design and procurement through to evaluation and student pastoral support.

We are the largest provider of engineering apprenticeships to the British Army
We are the largest provider of engineering apprenticeships for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Royal Armoured Corps, Armoured Infantry and Army Air Corps, as well as apprenticeships for the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, Adjutant General’s Corps and the Royal Military Police. We manage over 5,000 apprenticeships each year, ensuring soldiers are equipped with the technical skills and qualifications to support their careers.
A partnership approach
Babcock is a successful partner at the Royal School of Military Engineering (a 30 year Public Private Partnership providing training, training support, infrastructure and services to the British Army) and the Tri-Service Defence College of Technical Training where the Electro-Mechanical Training Contract provides specialist training for electronic and mechanical trades and engineering leaders and managers across Defence.
We also deliver training, maintenance and support services at the British Army’s armoured warfare centre of excellence in Bovington.
