We have been awarded a one-year contract extension by the Ministry of Defence to continue delivering electro-mechanical training to the Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT).
The Electro-mechanical Training Contract (EMTC2) extension, worth circa £22 million, involves the annual delivery of courses to around 5,000 students from the tri-Services.
Through the contract, we will continue to provide services such as the design, planning, scheduling and delivery of training, and support to more than 2,500 pieces of equipment – including weapons and tanks, and multi-media development.
We have been delivering training to the DCTT for more than 10 years – employing more than 300 people at the Ministry of Defence Lyneham and HMS Sultan.
