Our LGE business, a global leader in liquefied gas solutions, has been awarded Approval in Principle (AiP) by Lloyd’s Register (LR) for its pioneering onboard carbon capture technology, ecoCPTR®.
The announcement was made during Gastech 2025 in Milan and marks a significant milestone in our expanding portfolio of marine decarbonisation innovations.
ecoCPTR® integrates Aqualung’s facilitated transport membrane CO₂ capture technology with our proven ecoCO2® system, delivering a low-pressure, modular solution designed for seamless installation on both newbuilds and retrofitted vessels. Its compact architecture offers substantial operational and environmental advantages, supporting the industry’s transition to cleaner maritime operations.
