Tackling climate change in Australia

Our Marine team in Osborne, South Australia, is making a difference by volunteering it’s time to a project that will help redress the carbon deficit. On average a single Australian has a carbon footprint of approximately 25 tonnes each year. Registered charity, Project Forktree, is returning 133 acres of degraded land ‘back to nature’ allowing it to eventually ‘offsetting’ thousands of tonnes of carbon to combat climate change. Hear from Babcock Australasia’s Regional Sustainability Lead, Ben Keen as he talks to renowned environmental scientist and founder of Forktree, Tim Jarvis about what Babcock and its people could be doing to tackle climate change.
