Join our shipbuilding team at Rosyth

Welders

You’ll perform welding and related tasks in a production environment, from piece part creation, through to panel manufacture and whole ship build. Plus responsibility for digital and thermal temperature recording devices and grinding. ‘Safety first’ will be front of mind in all you do.


Build your future. You’ll need previous experience of tooling maintenance, technical instructions and IAW welding procedures, and acceptance standards. You’ll hold a recognised Welding Apprenticeship to N/SVQ Level 3.

Fabricators

You’ll be carrying out structural steel fabrication and working with high tolerances. For fabrication work, you’ll be responsible for lining out and marking off, interpretation of drawings, and specifications.


Build your career. You’ll need previous experience of working within the marine industry; other relevant experience will be considered. You’ll hold Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a sheet metal, structural steel or fabrication related discipline and relevant Level 3 Engineering qualification.

Electricians

You’ll be carrying out the installation of electrical equipment within the marine environment, including shock and non-shock mounted items.

Craft your career. You’ll need previous experience of multi pin plug connection/ assembly, and low voltage systems installation. As a minimum, you’ll also have an ONC Electrical Engineering or a Level 3 Electrical apprenticeship.
