Hawk Contract
Supporting the pilots of tomorrow

In our 11-year agreement with BAE Systems, we continue to support the Royal Air Force (RAF)’s fleet of 28 Hawk T2 jets at RAF Valley, Anglesey in North Wales.
Providing maintenance and fast jet training for trainee pilots as part of the UK Military Training System (UKMFTS), our teams ensure the output of pilots who then go on to operate Typhoon and F-35 aircraft.
The Hawk contract covers all Hawk T2 airframe support elements, working to ensure the Hawk aircraft continue as global ambassadors for the UK.
As part of the same contract, we also deliver both forward and depth maintenance to the RAF’s Red Arrows display team enabling them to continue to impress the world with their amazing acrobatic displays.
Through new ways of working, and by harnessing the use of technology, we drive savings that are then reinvested into the RAF’s training capability.
At a glance:
- Maintenance and groundcrew training
- Support for Hawk T2 aircraft
- Both forward and depth maintenance to the RAF’s Red Arrows display team (T1 Hawks)
Training the next generating of engineering talent
