Deon is an accomplished global business leader with more than 30 years of executive experience spanning Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe. He has held senior roles in large, complex organisations and major multinationals, including President for Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East & South Asia at FLSmidth and Vice President for South Europe, North Africa & the Middle East at Sandvik. He most recently served as CEO of Electrical Engineering & Renewable Energy at Reunert Limited, a JSE-listed group. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale transformation programmes and operational turnarounds across the mining, engineering, construction and industrial sectors, on multiple continents. Deon holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and an MBA from Bond University, Australia.
