Aerial emergency services
Babcock has over 35 years’ experience in aerial emergency medical services (EMS). In France, we flew 12,200 EMS flights and ran 13,600 EMS missions last year. We run 28 medical bases across the country, own and maintain a fleet of 35 specialist EMS aircraft and employ around 350 people, including our highly trained aircrews and engineers.
In France, we have an 11-year contract with the French state to deliver military flying training programmes and the associated support work. With specialist in-country expertise and a wealth of resource and experience to reach back to in the wider organisation, our military aviation services are second to none.
